Hanky Code was/is a multicolored form of secret signaling in search for sexual and romantic connection by gay men most popularly used in the 1970s and 1980s. This code served as inspiration for work meditating on the romance, taboo, and humor of queer sexuality and the homoerotic divinity of communion.
