Body of work 2017-2019
I do not claim to know what love is, nor do I claim to know I’ve felt it. I do know the tightness in my chest, the nausea in my stomach, the lonely soreness in my arms, and the warmth on my skin.
This body of work explored longing and emotional pain and it’s relationship with the body. Through geometric abstraction, these works melded the color and structure of the physical body and made physical the subconscious and weight of emotion.
